LUKEWARM CHRISTIANS!!

I had a great conversation with my Grandpa the other day. We talked about our convictions and certain things that God has put us through. He talked about how he came to know God and how my dad came to know God. I talked to him about how I was convicted and God smacked me right into place and how certain things I've prayed about have been answered, some funnier ways than others, yet still answered.

One of the main things we talked about was my grandpas mom and how she had a bunch of stories about people getting blessed in the church and they would do things that only God would allow. Two of the ones that stuck out to me most was a story about a time his mom was in church and she said the congregation was all sitting on folding metal chairs. She said there was a guy that got blessed and was, I assume, sitting in the middle of everyone he got up and through the chair straight up in the air and the chair landed perfectly right where the guy had picked it up from. The second little story was one of the churches she went to, they had a furnace that was always burning in the church, my grandpa made it seem like it was maybe in the shape of a big egg so I'll go with that, well one day a guy in the church was filled so much with the spirit that he got up and walked up to the furnace and hugged it for a few seconds. When he was done hugging it he left without any burn marks or anything on him.

Now why did I tell you these two stories? Because me and my grandpa came to the conclusion that CHRISTIANS NEED TO WAKE UP!!! It seems like nowadays Christianity is just a weird trend going on and thats not how it should be at all! Christ said to be BOLD, walk HOLY, be COURAGEOUS. Too many of us in the church now are so scared of what people might think if we stand up and shout or run around a few times. I remember when I was little and I saw my dad run the aisle. Yeah it was weird becasue I didnt know God then, I had never felt that blessing or that Holy Spirit hit me like that. Now its been years since I've seen anybody run any aisle, much less stand up and give a good Godly testimony or shout something to God. Christians are just mixed in with what society does anymore which is NOT RIGHT at all. Christ said "I did not come to bring peace, but a sword". We are suppose to be standing up for God and not backing down for society. Its time to wake up Christians!! The end is coming whether you're ready or not. Is you're spirit on fire for God? Do you feel his presence wherever you go? if not you might want to check yourself and check where you're at with the Lord. WAKE UP CHRISTIANS!!! WE NEED REVIVAL!!
