THE PERFECT MARRIAGE!!

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25

Now I know what you're thinking, "oh great hes going to tell us what a perfect relationship he has with Jami." Well....yeah.. the only difference is that God revealed to me that we don't have a perfect relationship in the worlds standards but in Spiritual Biblical standards. And I can also admit that we still have Biblical growing up to do as we are being made perfect.

We get into arguments like any other couple, like I said we are far from the worlds knowledge of a perfect couple but when it comes to Biblical this is what I mean. I love the fact that we do argue and we do fight. I love that fact that she worries constantly and I dont worry at all. I love the fact that she loves me in all my faults and I love her in all her faults. I love the fact that when we do fight we sometimes do go to bed angry. The fact is in all of our faults I love her unconditionally and I believe that's how God is with us.

I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. Luke 5:32

We see constantly in the Bible how God shows mercy, grace, and love to the most sinful of people. The fact is that me and Jami are far from perfect. We are just two completely broken (even if it is hard to admit it) crazy, out of line goofballs who are always in need of God's and each others love, mercy, and forgiveness.
Jesus tells us to love our wives as he loves the church. No you most likely wont always be happy, but thats human, and if you are a Christian you've already made the decision that you are dead already and you are living in Christ. So as husbands we need to always strive to make our wives happy, as when pastors strive to keep the church happy. Yes youll have disagreements and arguments but in the end it will all be worth it.

(I was not trying to boast or seem proud in this article. I am simply showing that without God we can't make it. I am showing that God is our strength and in that I am boasting of my weakness. I apologize if anyone has taken this as me being proud or boasting.)

GOD ANSWERS THE UNGRATEFUL!!

A little over a month ago I started working for a drug and narcotics recovery center. I loved everything about it. There was God talk, weird talk, crazy talk, and all around just a fun place, but that was mainly because I was hanging out with the client which were a bunch of 18-24 year olds just having a good time and sharing their stories. I loved hanging out with them and just observing what they were doing and talking about.

About a week or two into it they made me a "hall monitor" which basically took me away from the group all together. I wasn't really upset about it, but was definitely bored standing in the hall so I decided to just ask God to put me back in with the group. A couple weeks later they put me as an In-house tech, which meant that I was at the clients houses with them at night. I of course was aggravated that I got night shift since I was used to the day shift, but I like the fact that I got to hangout again with the clients and go into their house meetings.

So why am I telling you this?

If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. -Matthew 21:22

This goes back to my "notice answered prayer" blog. I as a Christian did not notice that God has answered my prayers. I was sitting there being aggravated that my schedule got messed with and I didnt even notice that my prayer had been answered. I am now able to hangout with the guys and talk with them and hear their stories and just talk with them about life. It just goes to show that no matter how ungrateful we are, God is always there for us. Thank you God for your grace and blessings.

EXPERIENCE GOD!!

Any comments or topics that you would like to discuss please let me know. I will be more than happy to talk with you.

Luke 9:46-48

An argument arose among them as to which of them was the greatest. But Jesus, knowing the reasoning of their hearts, took a child, and put him by his side and said to them, "Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.
