FOLLOW HIM!!

Ive been watching the Bible series for the past few days and when I heard what Moses said after he splits the red sea in the clip it really stuck out to me. After Moses parts the red sea he looks back at the Israelites and says "follow me".

I was thinking about this clip the other day (mainly cus I thought the visuals looked great) but then I thought of those 2 words moses said, "follow me". It reminded me that thats how God is with us. As Christians we go through so much struggle of not giving into the world, what am I gonna do about this situation, how am I gonna pay this. Its almost like we see a huge sea in front of us and its a dead zone.

Thats when God steps in and parts our "sea" and looks at us and simply says "follow me". Yes we still see our struggles, yes we still see our bills, and yes we still know our worst sins and our smallest sins, but if we simply just look to him the whole time and walk right behind his path we make it through so easily that we almost forget that we are far from perfect. We almost forget that we were even struggling and we have a huge peace about it after we make it through.

Thats kind of whats happened with me this past week. God, as well as everyone else, knows I dont like my job at all. Ive been praying so long for another job or just some kind of opportunity. Finally the other day I got a call for an interview in stuart, which is also where jami has been looking at an apartment that she fell in love with, I went to the interview and the next day I got a call for, I guess you could say a "second" interview. So I dont have the job for sure yet, but its just one of those things where I know Gods working it all out, its almost too perfect to not workout, all because I kept my eyes on God when he just kept saying "follow me".

FOLLOW HIM. I PROMISE YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED.

I KNOW YOUR WALK!!

Last night Jami had to run out and do a couple errands so I told her to drop me off at the gym and to just pick me up after she was done. After about a half an hour I wasn't feeling too good so I decided to walk over to Publix where I knew she was going to be. I walked in the store and started looking around for her and I saw her coming towards me but I noticed she didn't look directly at me. She had turned around to where her back was toward me and then she turned around again to look at me. I asked her, "how'd you know I was here"? she said "because I know your walk".

Now two things popped into my mind when she said that; one was, wow this woman knows me so well she knows my walk just looking out the corner of her eye.....kinda creepy. Second thing that popped into my mind was that's how we as Christians need to be when it comes to God. We should be so wrapped up in him and wanting to know him and talk to him and just spend time with him to the point where we can say, "that's his voice I hear, that's His grace, that's His touch I feel, that's His walk that I notice"
